LPN LTC

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting with various medical procedures. Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Assist with physical examinations and provide support to physicians during procedures
- Perform basic medical procedures, such as IV insertion, gastric lavage, and sterile processing
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Skills:
- Proficient in performing IV insertion and maintaining IV lines
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with administering medications and understanding their effects on the body
- Ability to assess patient conditions and respond appropriately in emergency situations
- Skilled in conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical imaging results
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs and recognize abnormal readings

Shift: 6am-6:30pm (Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday schedule)

Duration: 13 weeks

Pay:

$44/hr (taxed nontaxed)

$1,584 weekly gross based on 36 hours
